
Terms of Service
Effective Date: 19 January 2026
Lexis Bridge Atlantic (“LBA”) operates as a specialised legal research, forensic procedural, and litigation-support consultancy. These Terms govern all services provided by LBA. By engaging LBA, the Client acknowledges and accepts that LBA provides non-attorney support services only.
I. Definitions and Scope of Services
1. Definitions
"Client-Firm"
A licensed attorney-at-law (United States), solicitor or barrister (United Kingdom), or law firm retaining LBA. The Client-Firm remains solely responsible for all legal advice, filings, advocacy, and compliance with professional rules.
"Self-Representing Client"
An individual litigant proceeding without licensed counsel who retains LBA solely for legal research, procedural analysis, and drafting frameworks, and not for legal representation or advice.
"Sponsoring Party"
A third party providing payment for services. A Sponsoring Party is not the client and has no authority over the engagement.
"LBA Work Product"
Research memoranda, procedural audits, forensic analyses, issue-spotting briefs, and drafting frameworks prepared for informational and analytical purposes only.
2. Scope of Services
LBA provides forensic and procedural research support, including:

Procedural Triage
A mandatory preliminary forensic review assessing procedural posture, time limitations, and threshold viability. -
Forensic Procedural Auditing
Review of trial and post-conviction records to identify procedural defects relevant to appeals, post-conviction relief, or federal habeas review. -
Institutional and Administrative Analysis
Research concerning custodial records, disciplinary processes, and administrative actions relevant to sentencing or collateral challenges. -
Pro Se Research Support
High-level research summaries, issue frameworks, and structural drafting guidance to inform independent filings by self-representing clients.
3. Non-Negotiable Limitations
No Practice of Law
LBA does not provide legal advice, legal representation, or advocacy, and does not engage in the practice of law in any jurisdiction.
No Attorney-Client Relationship
No attorney-client relationship or privilege is created.
Client Responsibility
All filings, deadlines, strategic decisions, and representations to courts remain the sole responsibility of the Client-Firm or Self-Representing Client.
Sponsor Firewall
LBA accepts instructions only from the Client. Payment by a Sponsoring Party confers no rights of direction or access.
II. Fees, Payment, and Suspension
1. Payment Terms
Invoices are payable within 14 calendar days.
2. Suspension
Services may be suspended if payment is 7 days overdue. LBA is not responsible for missed deadlines resulting from suspension.
3. Procedural Triage Fee

Mandatory initial fee: $150

Non-refundable once work commences

Credited toward subsequent services commissioned within 30 days
III. Confidentiality and Privilege
Communications with LBA are confidential on a contractual basis but are not protected by attorney-client privilege.
IV. Limitation of Liability and Governing Law

Liability Cap: limited to fees paid for the relevant service
